ABOUT ME

For me, Art is a bridge to unite humanity. I enjoy expressive creations in Watercolors, Mixed Media, Mosaics, Silk Paintings that defy common notions of beauty. I conisder, my style is abstract, lyrical, exuberant and unpredictable as nature itself. I find poetry in things that could often be overlooked.  With an acute sensitivity to texture and colour, I favour the unexpected, finding beauty in the imperfect and unusual.

My initial foray into Art was spent indulging in watercolours followed by ever expanding fascination with a variety of media including upcycling. I have successfully exhibited in various art galleries and venues in the UAE and abroad for the past two decades. I am a recipient of several awards including the first prize in the UAE Watercolor Challenge. My artworks have appeared in many public and private collections worldwide including the ‘The One & Only Royal Mirage Hotel’. Lately one of my artworks, supporting ‘Gender Pay Equality’ was acquired by Chevron Al Khalij Oil Corporation, including two artworks published in the book ‘A Salute to Tolerant UAE’ gifted to the UAE Minister of Tolerance, His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak.
